A life long devoted American Dairy Farmer, Frank Keith Nye, 84, passed away on Friday, December 17th, 2021 at his residence with his loving family at his bedside.
Mr. Nye was born on August 6, 1937 in Ellwood City to the late Frank B. and Jean (McCaslin) Nye. His had graduated from Zelienople High School with the class of 1955. Keith was the owner and operator of The Nye Family Dairy Farm in Fombell of which his father had started. He is a member of the Lillyville Church of God, the Pennsylvania Holstein Association, and the National Holstein Association.
Keith is survived by his daughter, Margie Moore, sons, Frank K. Nye, Jr., Andy (Rose) Nye, and Dan (Megan) Nye all of Fombell, eleven grandchildren, and nineteen great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Martha F. (Cowie) Nye whom he married on June 24, 1961 and passed away on May 21, 2011, grandson, Billy L. Nye, daughter-in-law, Martha A. Nye, and sisters, Nancy Rape and Carole Brosenitch.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4-8 pm at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. and on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am at the Lillyville Church of God with Pastor Dennis Arndt officiating. Interment will follow at the Lillyville Church of God Cemetery.
Mr. Nye’s family would like to express a special thank you to their family and friends for all their help and wonderful care they gave to Keith.
Memorial contributions in Mr. Nye’s name may be made to the Lillyville Church of God, or to the Shriners Hospitals.
