Mrs. Sara (Hartung) Stone, 71, of Gibsonia passed away on Thursday, August 17th, 2023 at Concordia at Rebecca Residence in Allison Park.
Mrs. Stone was born in Pittsburgh on December 18th, 1951 to the late Joseph and Irma (DuPell) Hartung. Sara graduated from Domenec High School with the class of 1969 and from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Arts in 1973. She also earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy in 1994 also from the University of Pittsburgh. Sara had worked at St. Claire Hospital and later at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Twp. as a pharmacist. She enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren, her book club, playing Bunko, and going to Pittsburgh Penguins games with her husband Harry.
She is survived by her husband Harry V. Stone III whom she married on February 20th, 1981, sons Jason Stone of Havelock , NC and Kevin (Judy) Stone of Ross Twp., and her grandchildren Jeremy, Tyler, and Caleb Stone.
A private visitation and service for family and close friends will be held on Tuesday, August 22nd, 2023 at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc.. Interment will be at the Wurtemburg Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Sara’s name may be made to; Parkinson’s Foundation.

Deepest sympathies to the Stone Family for your loss. I have fond memories working with Sara at Passavant and hearing about her boys. She will be missed.
