Hetty M. Wogan, 74

Mrs. Hetty M. Wogan, 74, of Beaver Falls passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 in her residence.

Mrs. Wogan was born on February 23, 1943 in Ellwood City to the late William and Blanche Rosemund Garroway. She had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1961, and from the White Leather Beauty School in New Brighton. She worked as a hairdresser at the Holiday for Beauty beauty salon in Koppel for many years. Hetty was a member of the Koppel United Methodist Church, and was an accomplished organist for the Clinton Methodist Church, Koppel Methodist Church and the Homewood Methodist Church.

She is survived by her sister Holly (James) Pazsint of Alaska, her brother Harry Garroway of New Brighton, her sister-in-law Mary Garroway of Koppel, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert C. Wogan whom she married on April 19, 1982 and passed away on January 24, 1999, and her brother Harvey Garroway.

A Memorial Service for Hetty will be held at a later date.

Inurnment will be at the Slippery Rock Cemetery in Ellwood City. The funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services.

Memorial contributions in Mrs. Wogan’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
