Joseph “Keith” Jacobs, 72

On Sunday, June 5th, 2022, Joseph “Keith” Jacobs, loving husband and father passed away at age 72.

Born May 27th, 1950 in Ellwood City, a son to the late Joseph and late Yetta (Baker) Jacobs. He was a member of the Ellwood City Saxon Club, Ellwood City Hungarian Home, and Ellwood City Sons of Italy. Keith served in the Unites States Navy, worked at Halstead Industries, sold real estate with Century 21, and loved as “Mr. Keith” serving the staff and students at Holy Redeemer School.

Survived by his wife of 39 years Docia Jeanne (Jinar) Jacobs, four children: son Patrick Jacobs of Chattanooga, Tennessee, son Jamie Jacobs of Conover, North Carolina, daughter Rachael (Craig) Jacobs of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, and Matthew (Christen) Jacobs of Cincinnati, Ohio. God daughter Ashley (Mark) Jakubowski. Also survived by siblings Shelby Hall, Sonja Boots, Larry Jacobs, David Jacobs, Mark Jacobs, Jay Jacobs, grandchildren Steven Sherrod, PaTrisha Jacobs, Kyleigh and Elizabeth Edinger, Jude, Liliana and Joseph Jacobs, Chessie Dominguez, Bryan Raybuck, and Madison Jakubowski, and great-grandchildren Jacob , Madison, and Julia Sherrod.

Family and friends will be received for viewing on Wednesday  from 3:00 pm until the time of the service at 6:00 pm at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 309 Spring Ave., Ellwood City, Pa 16117, with Rev. Chance Kelosky officiating.

    My condolences to the family. I just learned of Keith’s passing Keith worked at my Century 21 office for about 10 years. Everyone lived Keith. He was a man people trusted both n the profession and his personal life Keith adored Doccia his family. Stay strong!
