Mark P. DaVare, 66

Mark P. DaVare, 66 of Ellwood City, passed away on July 8th, 2022 at the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Mark was born in Ellwood City on June 14th, 1956 to the late Victor and Sarah E. (Dahl) DaVare. He graduated from the Lincoln High School with the class of 1974. For over 40 years Mark owned and operated Mark’s Garage in Ellwood City’s “West-End”.  He was a natural mechanic who enjoyed tinkering on his vehicles, and being in his garage. Mark was known to enjoy riding his Harley  and shooting poole. He was a member of the Chewton White Eagles. Mark also deeply enjoyed the company of his children and grandchildren. He will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his daughter, Courtney DaVare of Ellwood City, step-daughter, Brandy Rombold, sons, Derick DaVare and Drake (Brittany Buss) DaVare both of Ellwood City, his partner, Cindy Durf, sister Vicki (Michael) Contrucci of Ellwood City, granddaughters, Zoey Crowell, Evelyn DaVare, and Charlotte Lordi, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 12th, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc..

    To the entire DaVare family, I am So Sorry for your loss and you all are in my thoughts and prayers. Mark was a great guy. I am sorry but I will be unable to attend the funeral due to health issues. R.I.P. Mark, you will be missed.

    We are very sorry to have heard of Marks passing, We remember Mark coming to Cville and playing in the back yard. Mark was a good man. Vicki, Courtney, Derick, Drake and Brandy our thoughts and prayers are with you. Kathy Roth , Tina Davare and Mary Davare.
