Michelle L. Martino, 68

Michelle L. Martino, 68, of Ellwood City passed away on Friday, March 27, 2020 at the Avalon Nursing Center.

Michelle was born on March 16, 1952 to the late Michael Anthony Martino and Mary Rose, (Reda) Martino. She graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1970 and had many jobs. Her favorite job was when she worked at Inmetco. She loved people and had the ability to make people laugh. She was very generous always giving to people. She made friends no matter where she went.  Michelle was a member of the Holy Redeemer Parish, Lawrence County Senior Life, and enjoyed playing bingo. She is loved and will be missed by her family and many friends.

She is survived by her son, Michael A. Martino who she loved and was very proud of, her granddaughter, Alyssa Rose Martino who was the light of her life, her brother, John G. (Jennifer) Martino of New Castle, her sisters, Joanne Martino and Angie Gutherie both of Ellwood City, her brother-in-law, John P. Dando of Florida, her daughter-in-law, Stephanie (Wisherman) Martino, and her nieces, nephews and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Susan Dando.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic a memorial service in Michelle’s honor will be held at a later date.

The funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc..

    Sincere sympathy to Michelle’s Son and Family, she was a kind sweet person and we truly enjoyed her comradery at the INMETCO front gate, She enjoyed life and it showed,,,God Rest her Soul;;
