Ms. Barbara A. “Bea/Barb” Barbati, 65 of Renfrew, PA, passed away on Monday, October 18th, 2021 at her residence.
Bea was born on October 24th, 1955 in Ellwood City to the late James D. and Barbara (Getsay) Barbati. She graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1973, and then from Valencia Community College with a degree in nursing. After graduation, she went to work as a nurse in the operating room, at Florida Hospital, and then moved on to become a supervisor for out patient surgery. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with friends and family, which prompted a move back to Pennsylvania. Once back home, Bea worked at the Passavant Hospital in Wexford. She enjoyed purchasing items from QVC, a hobby she inherited from her father. Bea also enjoyed cooking, watching soap operas, and cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers.
She is survived by her brothers, Alfonso “Al” Barbati of Prospect, and James (Karen) Barbati of Barberton, OH, her nephews Dave (Hillary) Barbati, Michael (Jessica Talbot) Barbati, Vincent (Amber) Barbati, and Alex (Eden) Barbati, her nieces, Lindsey (Eric) Custozzo, Maria Barbati, and Alexis Barbati, her great-nephew, Vincenzo Barbati, her great-nieces, Mia Barbati, Saige Barbati, and Natalie Custozzo, and many more extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be private. It was Bea’s wishes to be memorialized in one of her favorite places, Anna Marie Island in Florida. The family asks that if you find yourself there in the future, please take some time to remember their loving sister, aunt, and friend in a way that you see fit.
Final arrangements have been entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc..

Sorry to read of the passing of your sister, called home much to soon. Though we never understand “why” our Lord calls home someone so young, being a believer we understand He has a plan for each and everyone of us. Once again my sincerest condolences to you and all who loved her. God Bless.
