Mrs. Rose Marie Brown, 83, of Ellwood City passed away on Sunday, June 6th, 2021 at the UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Mrs. Brown was born in Ellwood City on November 10th, 1937 to the late Bruno and Mary (Pezzi) Buccelli. She had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1955. From 1979 until her retirement in 1999, Rose Marie worked at the St. Francis Hospital in New Castle as a ward clerk and nurses assistant. She is also a member of the Holy Redeemer Parish, Holy Redeemer Christian Mothers, and a long time volunteer for the church’s annual bazaar.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Colleen (Bob) McAdams of New Castle, her grandchildren, Nicole Marie Friello and her fiance’ Roger Reynolds, and Louis (Sara) Friello, Jr. her great- granddaughter, Charlotte Friello, and her sister and brother-in-law, Louise (Anthony) Agostinelli of Perry Twp..
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles E. Brown whom she married on August 31, 1956 and passed away on December 27, 2011, and her brother, James W. Buccelli.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 11:00 am until the time of the Blessing Service at Noon at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc.. Inurnment will follow at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Mrs. Brown’s name may be made to the Holy Redeemer Angel Fund.
